From November 3-6, the D&F Equipment Sales team proudly exhibited at PACK EXPO International, held at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. As “the premier event for packaging and processing professionals,” PACK EXPO International provided the perfect platform for D&F to showcase professional expertise in tackling plant challenges by engineering innovative process flows and fabricating stainless steel equipment built for efficiency. With over 47,000 attendees, nearly 2,700 exhibitors, and more than 1.3 million square feet of exhibit space, this year’s event broke records, underscoring the rapid growth and innovation driving the industry forward.
A Story of Growth and Expertise
For the 2024 PACK EXPO International, D&F Equipment Sales debuted a brand-new booth, designed and developed by BAP Agency. With strategic graphic components, this year’s booth told the entire D&F story, from humble beginnings out of Larry Fortenberry’s toolbox to becoming a full-service equipment manufacturer and engineering supplier for the poultry, meat, and prepared foods industries. The D&F Equipment Sales booth featured a custom-engineered conveyor with both an incline and decline, demonstrating D&F’s capability in designing process-flow solutions tailored to the unique needs of any plant
Additionally, D&F had the privilege of sharing the booth with PartsXpress, a trusted industry partner that specializes in inventory optimization and management with high-quality products at the best possible prices. During the tradeshow, D&F and PartsXpress presented a cohesive message of how D&F does “Whatever it Takes” to get your plant running smoothly and PartsXpress gives you “Everything You Need” to keep them that way.
Opportunities at PACK EXPO International
Attendees of PACK EXPO international come to the show for a variety of reasons, all of which apply to the D&F team. The Sales team’s attendance was an opportunity to network among the incredibly diverse industries being represented in the processing and packaging realm, including (but not limited to) attendees from the following: Fruits/Vegetables, Meat/Poultry/Seafood, Prepared Foods, Baking and Snack, and Beverage.
D&F’s attendance at the 2024 PACK EXPO International gave the Sales team an opportunity to showcase how D&F Equipment Sales custom-engineers conveyors to meet any need, and how D&F’s expertise in process-flow readily provides solutions to streamline processes in any plant. Beyond networking and showcasing opportunities, D&F representatives were able to walk the floor and learn from other booths, helping the company remain up-to-date on the most current industry innovations and emerging trends, so the D&F team can continually improve service offerings and better serve clients.
Looking Ahead
D&F’s time at the 2024 PACK EXPO International was a resounding success, reaffirming D&F Equipment Sales’ position as a leader in the industry. The D&F team worked tirelessly to plan for this event, build the booth, work the show, and tear down, spending over a week and a half in the Windy City. Everyone who visited this brand new booth and contributed to the energy and innovation of PACK EXPO International 2024 made the work well worth it.
Moving forward, D&F will be kicking off 2025 in a big way at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), happening January 28-30 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
